Alfonso Curaón has won best director for his work on ‘Gravity.’
The director was a clear favorite for the category as he won.
He commented on the length it took to make the film and was sure to thank everyone involved.
“For a lot of these people, the transformation was wisdom; for me, it was the color of my hair.”
The film took home a total of 6 Oscars with most of them being technical awards. ‘Gravity’ has grossed over $700 million worldwide.
