This is a unfortunate injury for an Orlando Magic team that have actually been playing quite well despite the record.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Rookie Aaron Gordon will be out indefinitely with a fracture I his left foot.
Orlando Magic rookie forward Aaron Gordon fractured the fifth metatarsal in his left foot during Saturday night’s game against the Washington Wizards and he will be out indefinitely, team officials said.
Gordon will be evaluated by a specialist when the team returns from its road trip to Orlando following Monday’s game against the Detroit Pistons, and it’s unclear whether Gordon will require surgery.
Glen Davis had to have surgery with a similar injury when he was in Orlando and he was out for a few months. Hopefully Aaron Gordon doesn’t need surgery but he will definitely be out for a considerable amount of time. Again unfortunate. Gordon has had a few good games and has shown the promise he exerted when he was in Arizona.
