The former Oregon Duck is a projected lottery pick boasting incredible size and the skill set to match for the NBA style of play. The freshman center is listed at 7’2″ and 235 pounds. He also touts an impressive 7’8″ wingspan. A foot injury cut his season short but in a limited amount of time, he averaged 21 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. The big man can also stretch his shot out beyond the arc.

The physical stature and skill set will make teams in the mid to late lottery look at the center very closely. There are some concerns about how his legs will hold up with his height and frame, and those fears could be heightened by his injury at Oregon. The son of Manute is a lot like his dad though and can stuff the stat sheet.

Height and skill are important in the NBA and the center has plenty of both, so he will get heavy looks in the mid-lottery to late lottery. The young center will follow in his dad’s footsteps and is heading for the NBA. The third Def Pen 2019 NBA Mock Draft has the center going 13th overall.
