If there’s anyone who has managed to capture endorsements from some of the most powerful people in entertainment, it’s Beto O’Rourke. Since electing to run for a seat in the U.S. Senate, O’Rourke has picked up endorsements from both LeBron James and Beyonce. While he did not win, his momentum has continued to move full steam ahead. As he enters 2019, it appears that he may pick up another major co-sign.
The OWN Network has announced that Oprah Winfrey will interview Beto O’Rourke in New York at Times Square next month. Alongside O’Rourke, Oprah will take time to sit down with actor Michael B. Jordan, philanthropist Melinda Gates, actor Bradley Cooper and Time’s Up President, Lisa Borders. The interview will be a part of Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations series. The program description states that interviews will look at “how each of the guests created an impact and shifted the conversation in their respective fields of entertainment, politics and culture in the last year.” As reported, tickets for the live taping will going on next week. However, those who cannot make it out the Big Apple can catch the interview on Tuesday, February 5th when it airs on the OWN Network.
