Omri Casspi was supposed to be a difference maker off the bench last year for the Golden State Warriors. But for some reason, he just didn’t work out for the Dubs and he was unceremoniously cut before the playoffs started. Now he’s looking to join another team potentially on one final chance in the NBA to make a difference for a team searching for the playoffs.
Omri Casspi is reportedly joining the Grizzlies on a one-year deal.
Following comes from Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Free agent forward Omri Casspi has agreed to a one-year deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, league sources tell ESPN.

The Grizzlies are looking to make a run back into the playoffs after a horrible 2017-18 campaign which saw their two best players battle injuries and also changed their head coach early in the season. It was a mess for Memphis.
Under head coach JB Bickerstaff, who had the interim tag removed at the end of the season, Memphis will hope to make a run back to the postseason. Bringing a veteran sharpshooter in Casspi on board helps with their perimeter game but we need to first see if Casspi can bounce back from a down season.
