Earlier this month, Omarion sat down with rapper turned media personality, Joe Budden, for a full-length interview. During the interview, the R&B veteran opened up about his plans for the remainder of the year. Specifically, he revealed that he plans to release a new album later this year called Passport. Furthermore, he noted that the entire album was made with James Fauntleroy.
“The sh*t is coming this year. I have an album with myself and James Fauntleroy titled Passport. It’s already done. It’s in the clip. We’re just waiting for the [right time],” he tells Joe Budden.

Fauntleroy is one of the best songwriters and producers of the last fifteen years. Over the last decade, he has worked on a number of incredible projects including G.O.O.D Music’s Cruel Summer, J. Cole’s Born Sinner and Rihanna’s Anti. He was also nominated for a GRAMMY Award for his work on Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly.
As for Omarion, he is coming off of the release of a new single called “Can You Hear Me?” featuring T-Pain. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, Omarion was scheduled to continue the second act of the Millennium Tour with Bow Wow. A new album would mark his first new solo album since 2014’s Sex Playlist.
Omarion’s appearance on the Joe Budden’s Pull Up series will be available on Sunday, March 15, 2020.
