Omah Lay is one of the fastest rising artist in music today. The Nigerian artist has been rapping and putting together tracks for years now, but 2020 has proved to be his breakout year. In February, he began to build a larger audience thanks to his single, “You.” Not long afterwards, he put together a standout EP called Get Layd. Amassing over two million hits on YouTube, “Damn” emerged as one of the project’s standout tracks. Now, that standout record is getting the official remix treatment.
Omah Lay went big for the “Damn” remix. The 23-year-old artist grabbed one of the biggest artists in R&B today, 6LACK. Together, the two offer a smooth track that is right in 6LACK’s comfort zone.
“She love me like damn/Love you so much, I can’t pipe down/No longer looking for wife now/I’m ’bout six seconds from tied down/She love me when no one knows,” 6LACK sings.
