This is Thompson’s first venture into Europe as he spent his first four professional seasons in the NBA with the Sixers and the Pelicans. He spent last season with both teams and averaged 5.12ppg, 2.75rpg and shot 34-percent from three-point range.
His best NBA season was the 2015-16 season with the Sixers where he averaged 9.84ppg, 3.53rpg, and shot 38-percent from deep.
Thompson is the Reds sixth addition of the summer, joining Janis Strelnieks, Georgios Bogris, Kim Tillie, Jamel McLean, and Brian Roberts.
