Offset will not face charges for his felony phone smashing case, according to TMZ.
The case was closed by the Fulton County District Attorney’s office. Police told TMZ, “prosecutors decided not to pursue charges against Offset after the rapper and the fan, Junior Gibbons, hammered out a mutual agreement on their own.” TMZ reports that Gibbons previously stated that he wanted Offset to buy him a new phone.
It was reported earlier this month that the Migos rapper was issued an arrest warrant after smacking Gibbons cell phone out of his hand when he tried to record a video of him. The phone’s screen was shattered.
