Offset has been issued an arrest warrant and is facing a felony charge.
TMZ reports that last week, Offset was in a Target store in Georgia when a fan tried to take a video of the rapper. The fan said hello to Offset and he responded, “Get the f*** out of my face.” The Migos member then reportedly smacked the cell phone out of the fan’s hand, shattering the screen.
The fan whose named is Junior Gibbons, filled a police report last Friday. Police then investigated and issued a warrant for Offset.
TMZ says the incident is a felony because, “the phone costs $800 — reaching the felony threshold, and cops say it was intentional.”
The rapper was also recently hit with three charges from his Atlanta arrest in 2018. He is due in court for those charges sometime this month.
