Well it’s official. Weirdly enough, Magic’s and Kobe’s subtle shots to Jim Buss saying “hire Phil” didn’t work.
Phil Jackson is taking the plunge and is now President of basketball operations for the New York Knicks.
It’ll be made official on Tuesday with a press conference at Madison Square Garden.
He will be paid $12 million per year. Amazing to think that he and Darrelle Revis will get the same amount of money.
Phil won’t even have to do anything. This is cleary a PR move. Unless James Dolan gets his act straight.
