Stephen Curry put on a show in Washington D.C. last night. The reigning MVP scored 51 points on a ridiculous 11-16 shooting from 3-point range. The crazy part is, that wasn’t even the highlight of Curry’s trip to the nation’s capitol. The next day, Curry and the rest of his team — the reigning champs — went to the White House to be meet President Barack Obama.
President Obama, known to be a huge fan of the Chicago Bulls, honored the Warriors, but made sure to get a quip in about the 1995-96 Bulls — the Bulls team that holds the 72-win record that Curry and co. are chasing.

Obama, using his trademark humor, made sure to give a shoutout to Luke Walton, who served as head coach while Steve Kerr was out due to complications in back surgery. Obama compared Walton’s lack of recognition to his own.

Obama also did a great Steph Curry impression:
All in all, it was a fun trip to the White House for the Golden State Warriors. Curry described the experience as “surreal.” The Warriors currently have a ridiculous 45-4 record, good for #1 in the league(and in our power rankings!). They’ll look to win their second consecutive championship this June.
