O.J. Mayo was dismissed and disqualified from the NBA for violating the league’s anti-drug program this off-season but the 8-year veteran says he’ll be back.
Mayo was a free agent at the time of the dismissal, he can apply for reinstatement in two years but today a TMZ Sports video surfaced with Mayo.
When asked if he plans on coming back Mayo answered “Yes.”
Asked if he had a message for other teams, “I’ll be back soon,” Mayo answered.
The former Buck says he already appealed the dismissal and he is in the process of waiting for the results.
He didn’t say what he tested positive for but he did say, “I tell my story soon.”
Mayo was previous suspended for 10 games in 2011 for using dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA).
