Denver Nuggets newly signed forward Paul Millsap suffered a wrist injury recently. While the x-rays on his wrist turned up negative, it appears the former All-Star big man will be sidelined for the time being. He is undergoing wrist surgery and will be out indefinitely.

Denver Nuggets All-Star forward Paul Millsap will undergo surgery on his left wrist and will be sidelined two to three months, league sources told The Vertical.
Millsap suffered the injury in the Nuggets’ road loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night. Initial X-rays returned clean, but Millsap had further tests over the past two days that confirmed the need for surgery, league sources said.

Paul Millsap’s fit with the Nuggets has been up and down, to say the least. They have gotten back on track recently, going 7-3 in their last 10 games but it wasn’t always smooth sailing with Denver this season.
Millsap has played in 16 games this season playing 29.7 minutes per game while averaging 15.3 points per game and 6.2 rebounds. It is presumed that Kenneth Faried will continue to start in Millsap’s place for the Nuggets.
