The Denver Nuggets selected point guard of the future Emmanuel Mudiay with the 7th overall pick in the NBA Draft, to the distaste of Ty Lawson. Lawson later on posted a video of him claiming that he will most likely be traded to Sacramento. The Nuggets GM Tim Connelly and the NBA were NOT happy with that statement.
According to Benjamin Hochman of the Denver Post:

Connelly on the Ty Lawson video: “There’s often times poor judgement used by all of our players. … It doesn’t excite me.”

The Nuggets are obviously trying to shop Ty Lawson and get their moneys worth. About a week ago it was rumored that DeMarcus Cousins was someone the Kings wanted to trade, but now Rudy Gay is the topic of discussion. Will the Nuggets trade for Rudy Gay, and perhaps ship Lawson and Chandler or Gallinari to the Kings? Both teams are looking to stop a dry spell of missing the Playoffs, and both Nuggets and Kings seem lost in terms of the direction they are taking the teams. With bad chemistry all around the Kings organization and now bad blood in the Nuggets locker room, these two teams need to make a trade, immediately.
