Hornets rookie forward Noah Vonleh has been sent down to the Ft. Wayne Mad Ants of the D-League the team announced in a press release.
The big man out of Indiana was drafted ninth overall in this past summer’s draft and has only played in four games this season due to a groin injury. He is averaging 2.5 points, 2.8 rebounds in eight minutes.
In a separate move, the Hornets also aside Jeff Taylor to the D-League, sending him to the Austin Spurs.
Taylor missed the first 24 games of the season while serving a suspension following his role in a domestic assault case. He has been used sparingly this season by the Hornets, who say he’ll benefit by getting more playing time in the D-League.
