
The new James Bond film, No Time To Die, will now debut in November instead of April. MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, made the announcement today on Twitter.
“MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, announced today that after careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of NO TIME TO DIE will be postponed until November 2020,” the group wrote.

IGN has reported that the “global threat” that caused the postponement was COVID-19, better known as coronavirus. The virus is projected to cost the film industry $5 billion globally. Furthermore, certain theaters in China have been closed for weeks.
“The virus is beginning to heavily impact moviegoing in South Korea, Italy and even Japan, the world’s third-biggest film market,” IGN reports.
No Time To Die will hit theaters on November 12, 2020 in the U.K. and November 25th in the U.S.
