
Nipsey Hussle’s Grammy-nominated album Victory Lap re-enters Billboard’s 200 chart at No. 2. Other Nipsey Hussle projects make their chart debut.
Friends, family and of course fans are streaming his music as a way to mourn his tragic murder. Billboard reports, Victory Lap earned 66,000 equivalent album units in the week ending April 4 with 17,000 of the total in album sales. Originally, Victory Lap peaked at No. 4 on the same chart.
Although Victory Lap makes Nipsey Hussle’s studio album debut, his discography extends to a handful of mixtapes. Of these, four debut on Billboard 200. Crenshaw, The Marathon, Slauson Boy 2, and Mailbox Money all enter the chart.
Released in 2013, Crenshaw takes the No. 63 spot. 2016’s Slauson Boy 2 at No. 192, 2010’s The Marathon reaches 179 and Mailbox Money earns No. 192.
