As reported by the Los Angeles Times, Nipsey Hussle’s legacy has sparked the creation of The Marathon Book Club. In the days following his death, a 31 year old fan out of Wisconsin posted a list of the books the rapper had mentioned throughout his interviews. From there, a group of fans set out to get together and read those books. Today, The Marathon Book Club consists over 75 members across four chapters in New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Oakland.
