The Orlando Magic suffered from a small injury in Wednesday night’s overtime loss to the Houston Rockets. In the third quarter of the game star center Nikola Vucevic’s knee seemed to give out from under him as he drove to the rim. While that is usually a sign of a bad injury, it seems that Vucevic and the Magic got lucky:

Luckily, it is apparent that Vucevic did not do any significant damage to his knee. The initial prognosis is that he will miss one game, although the Magic may feel it necessary to give him more time off as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile, the Magic will look for contributions from reserve big men Channing Frye, Jason Smith, and Anthony Randolph in some combination to man the center position until Vucevic can return.
