European prospect Nikola Jovic has declared for the 2022 NBA Draft and will begin his NBA career. Jovic is a Serbian who has drawn plenty of attention playing in the Euro League and in international play. He is projected to go in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft, but it will likely be outside the NBA Draft Lottery. Most of his projections have him being drafted in the early 20s. Jovic is one of the best European prospects in the 2022 NBA Draft. Mixing up his name with Nikola Jokic will be difficult next year.

Nikola Jovic is listed at 6’10” and around 205 pounds, but his skill set is what has NBA teams giving him extra looks. While playing with KK Mega Bermax in Europe he played shooting guard, small forward, and power forward for the team. This level of versatility at his height is exactly what some NBA teams are lacking. Combine that with his professional experience and Jovic becomes an interesting name to look at in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Despite his size, Nikola Jovic plays most of his basketball as a versatile wing on the court. His ability to score alone will get him drafted around the 20th pick this year. He has some time to improve his draft stock and will hear his name called on draft night in a few months.
