As the saying goes, “game recognize game.” Dever Nuggets star big man Nikola Jokic certainly has game, as he has his squad sitting atop the NBA’s Western Conference with a surprising 28-12 record. Jokic And Jokic noticed another talented Denver sports star sitting courtside at a recent home game: Broncos’ Von Miller.
During the game in question, Jokic had what would be a career night for a lot of NBA players, but his 18 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists in a win over the L.A. Clippers is something closer to a ho-hum performance for the Nuggets’ star. After the game, however, Jokic and Miller exchanged signed jerseys and had a bit of a meet and greet. That led to plenty of pictures that would make it hard to pack more talent into a single snapshot.

When asked about the encounter, Jokic spoke glowingly of Miller’s presence in the Denver sports scene.

And for his part, Miller took to the Nuggets’ social media platforms to lobby for Jokic’s case to be an All-Star this season.

It’s no surprise that Miller would assert himself as Denver’s biggest Nuggets fan. He’s shown to be very involved in the community through several charitable causes.
Miller led the Broncos to a championship in 2015, something Jokic hopes to deliver to the city in the future. While the linebacker’s team finished a disappointing 6-10 and missed the playoffs, Denver’s basketball star has the Nuggets positioned to have home-court advantage throughout the NBA playoffs. If that NBA championship comes, Jokic will undoubtedly assume a place alongside Miller as Denver’s most legendary sports figures.
