A few months back we first reported this shoe with just a few detailed photos but today we have a release date for you guys. The release date for these is 2/23/13 and they’re retailing for $140. This particular colorway is taking inspiration from when “The Black Mamba” was first drafted, which wasn’t to the Lakers he was actually drafted by the Charlotte Hornets but then traded to LA. As you can see the colorway is filled with a then “Charlotte Hornet-like” teal and purple make up with hints of white accents. The official colorway is actually Blue Glow/Strata Grey-Game Royal how do you guys feel about this new colorway for the Nike Kobe VIII?
