“New Hybrid Alert!” Yesterday we got a first look at a new hybrid shoe which is being called “Nike Barkley Posite Max“. The first colorway which will possibly be released is an “Eggplant” color. This shoe is reminiscent of a “Half-Cent” but for obvious reasons not exactly the same though (was just speaking on the terms of a hybrid). The “Barkley Posite Max” is a collaboration between Barkley and Foamposite which from the looks has an interesting make up.
The toe box looks like the one from the “Nike Zoom Rookies“, overall the body of the shoe is of what looks to be the CB94 with the Foamposite shell wrapping around the shoe giving it that “standout” look. It features a Black nubuck upper with an Eggplant Foamposite hit, and Eggplant and White speckled Max Air Unit, and a glow in the dark outsole that reads “not a role model”. The “eggplant” color has almost a “cloak” touch to it, maybe I’m wrong.
There isn’t a release date set for these but when one becomes available we will have it for you guys. How do you feel about the new hybrid from Nike?
