Nicki Minaj appears to be in the process of releasing a remix to “FTCU,” an ATL Jacob-produced standout from her most recent LP, Pink Friday II.

“If there were a male rapper featured on the [third] verse of ‘FTCU,’ who would be your guess?” she asked her X, formerly known as Twitter, followers.

Nicki Minaj deleted the post, but discussed the track with Ebro Darden during a recent interview. The New York native says Drake initially wanted the track for his album, but she decided to keep it for herself in the end.

“After I played him that song, I played ‘F*ck The Club Up,'” she told Ebro.

“When that second verse came in, his reaction is why that song is so high up….Drake had originally loved that song. While he was working on his album, he was thinking about whether or not that song would fit on his album as well.”

After playing the single for Drake, J. Cole also had an opportunity to hear the song. The North Carolina native had such a positive reaction to the song that it led the New York native to keep the track for her album. Ultimately, J. Cole added a verse to “Let Me Calm Down,” but Drake did not make an appearance on the album. As a result, some fans believe he may be the mystery rapper featured on the “FTCU” remix.

“Hear me out, what if Drake were to be on the ‘FTCU’ remix?” one fan asked.

“This means drake is going to be the male rapper on the ‘FTCU’ remix,” another fan added.

It’s unclear who will be featured on the remix and when it will be released, but fans still hold out hope for another Young Money reunion.
