
Onika “Nicki” Minaj will reportedly bring her Pink Friday II Tour to Manchester, England on Monday, June 3, 2024. The concert was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024, but was postponed after the chart-topping superstar was arrested in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
“I was JUST RE-ADVISED that we actually CAN NOT do any other date for the make up #gagcityMANCHESTER date besides JUNE 3rd. So JUNE 3rd is the new official date for all ticket holders who originally had tickets to the MAY 25th #Manchester show. I apologize for all the inconvenience this has caused. I really hope you can make the #JUNE3rd show. It’ll be really special,” she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
On Saturday, May 25, the New York native was arrested at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport after being accused of attempting to leave the country with “soft drugs.” The 12-time GRAMMY Award nominee was reportedly taken into custody, but release later in the day.
“After consultation with the Public Prosecution Service, the suspect was fined and can continue her journey,” a statement from Dutch police reads.
Using Instagram Live and X, Minaj documented her interactions with Dutch police throughout the day. According to the music superstar, her bags were taken “without consent.”
“Now, they said they found weed [and] that another group of [people] have to come here to weigh the pre-rolls. Keep in mind they took my bags without consent. My security has already advised them those pre-rolls belong to him. Oh yea, the pilot wants me to take my [Instagram] post down,” she told her fans.
Minaj has reportedly left Amsterdam in preparation for her show in London on Tuesday, May 28. However, she is currently scheduled to return to Amsterdam for a concert on Sunday, June 2 at the Ziggo Dome.
