Nicki Minaj has really been seen on features since her last album in 2014. With two of those singles “Rake It Up” (Yo Gotti) and “You Da Baddest” (Future) doing big this summer, it’s keeping her name relevant.
Recently, the Queens rapper has been back in the studio working on her fourth studio album. While no word has been said on the album, recently the female emcee teased fans that something big is coming.
During her recent interview with Dazed Magazine, Nicki goes in on about how this new era of her music will be better than before. “This era will be a billion times more epic than anything ‘Anaconda’ could have delivered,” said the Queens rapper. She also hints that this era will be “the most memorable and most impactful” of her career.
Nicki also confirmed that a collaboration with Young Thug will be featured on her album. While both rappers have never fallen short from flaunting their flamboyant style, Nicki speaks very highly of Thug’s artistry.
While we wait for this “epic” new project to drop, read her latest interview with Dazed here.
