Nick Young isn’t afraid to hide from the spotlight. So when the Lakers guard/forward flirts with a near “death experience,” he isn’t shy to talk about it.
Before Tuesday’s game against the Nuggets, Swaggy P talked about the time when he was almost killed by dolphins in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
“He (The Dolphin) was playing with everybody else, doing what dolphins do, the ‘ack ack’ and all that,” Young said. “It was my time to ride the dolphin. For some reason, he took me all the way to the bottom. He was trying to drown me. But I saw it happening so I jumped out of the water and took off the little life vest and threw off my little water shoes and stayed outside.”
Swaggy also said that the dolphin played with others “nicely” and that he was the only one who the sea creature tried to harm.
“He went straight down,” Young said. “He was trying to kill me. I think he was trying to get on Iggy (Azalea). He was a little friendly, kissing her and stuff. He was trying to take my woman.”
It’s been a rough few weeks for the Young/Azalea “family.” Two weeks ago, Young was fined and benched during the second half against the Rockets, this past weekend girlfriend Iggy Azalea couldn’t repeat her Grammy success from last year, and now Nick Young is escaping death.
I feel for you Swaggy.
