Nick Young, or Swaggy P, will never stop being Swaggy P. Swaggy P will always do Swaggy P things. Most people that follow the NBA know that the trade deadline was on Thursday, but don’t tell Young that. He showed up to the Los Angeles Lakers practice on Wednesday very excited that he was still a part of the team, thinking that that day was the trade deadline.
Nick Young said he thought the trade deadline was yesterday. so when he showed up at practice yesterday, he said, “I’m still a Laker!”

Young turned out to be wrong, but he didn’t need to worry. He was not traded on Thursday to another team, so he is still a Laker. To be traded, you have to have be valuable to a team, but Young just is not that valuable.
Earlier in the week, Young expressed that he wanted to be traded to a playoff team. Clearly, he changed his mind, and he is just fine in LA.
