Yesterday, in yet another Los Angeles Lakers loss, this time to the Detroit Pistons, frustrations of losing came to a boiling point.
Lakers reserve wingman Nick ‘Swaggy P’ Young was breaking out for a fast break dunk, his first game played after being benched for back-to-back games for no reason at all, according to Byron Scott. Young got into the Lakers matchup against the Pistons and he survived only seven minutes before he was ejected for shoving Anthony Tolliver after a timid attempt at blocking his dunk. Apparently it was all Young needed to lash out on Tolliver.
The Lakers are 3-17 on the season and it’s horrible for everyone involved, including Young. It appears he’s reached his limit.

Nick Young said his reaction to Tolliver was also product of frustration with season

This could possibly mean the end of Young’s playing time with the Lakers in his upcoming future. ‘Swaggy P’ has not had the best season and Byron Scott has been noticing that. The one time Scott throws Young a bone and he ruins it. Swaggy P doesn’t perform well and on top of everything else, he gets ejected.
Nick Young is making this decision to keep him on the bench easy for coach Scott, not to mention that he could possibly get a suspension from the NBA for his actions against one of the nicest players in the NBA.
