Toronto and Atlanta clash again. Not in a duel but in a collaborative effort. Toronto’s own singer, songwriter and producer Nick Nikon finally released his long awaited single with Atlanta’s own Key! The almost 8 minute song, ‘Work’ can almost seem intimidating but it works out perfectly, there is not one dull moment during the record. The beat switch towards the half way mark is a prime example of a perfect transition in a song, so instead of a forced effort to give fans what seems to be 2 songs it is almost like the perfect ballad.
Aside from Nick taking the production role and providing the verses, Key! adds the icing on the cake with his ad-libs and of course a verse of his own.
