Nick Cannon will move from MTV and radio to daytime television in the new year. The actor, musician, comedian and entrepreneur has announced that he will be launching a syndicated daytime talk show next fall.
The new, untitled show will be distributed through Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury on Fox Stations. It will air in Fox’s biggest markets, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City, twice a day.
Cannon stated, “It’s always been a dream of mine to host my own talk show, and I’m fortunate to have found great partners in Fox and Debmar-Mercury.”
He added, “My experience with Fox as a producer and host on both The Masked Singer, as well as the soon-to-air Nick Cannon’s Hit Viral Videos, has been exceptional. I’m looking forward to continuing our amazing track record together.”
As previously mentioned, Cannon is the host of Nick Cannon Mornings on Power 106. He is also the host of Wild N’ Out on MTV 2. Moving forward, he will look to launch more shows and possibly purse higher education at Howard University.
