The League decided back in December that there won’t be a NFL team calling Los Angeles home in 2015, however, they have continued to talk about moving a franchise to the City of Angels. The momentum for a team to return L.A. since 2011.
The three front runners to make the move to L.A. are the Rams, the Chargers, and the Raiders. The league has narrowed down the two most likely stadium projects, the Hollywood Park project in Inglewood backed by the Rams and the Carson project endorsed by a combination of the Chargers and Oakland.
The league and the three teams will do research on the best course of action.
It’s possible we see a decision for a new L.A. team sometime next Fall before the leagues December meeting.
