“If you didn’t know, now you know,” Nezi Momodu says as she kicks of the “N.E.Z” video.
Frankly, you should know. Three years ago, Nezi Momodu popped up on the Def Pen radar with her record, “Jugg Everything.” From her lyrical ability to bold delivery, she had everything she needed to become a star. The three-minute lyrical exercise set the stage for her 2018 LP, The Endless Hour: Volume I. Over the course of a dozen track, the Texas native proved time and time again that she’s not just an emerging artist — she’s a special talent!
Since she dropped The Endless Hour: Volume I, Nezi Momodu has been on the moves. She’s dropped a number of freestyles on her YouTube channel, earned writing credits on Teddy Riley’s Dance 4 You and appeared in a cypher hosted by our friends over at MIZIZI. Fortunately, it looks like she’s on her way back to releasing a full-length project in 2022. First up, she’s here to share the “N.E.Z” video.
Paying homage to Missy Elliott’s legendary “Super Duper Fly” video, Nezi Momodu’s “N.E.Z” is complete with a series up-close shots, vibrant colors and tons of personality. Completing the visual package, the track is a head-bopping, addictive record that reminds everyone just how talented Nezi Momodu is when she gets going.
