The New York Jets lost their best runningback in 2015 when Chris Ivory elected to join the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags were willing to meet the demands of Ivory and with backup Bilal Powell also on the free agent wire, the Jets needed to make a move.
Look no further than the top running back available in former Chicago Bears halfback, Matt Forte.

Forte comes into a situation with no clear quarterback for the Jets but the choice of picking who to put under center comes a lot easier with Matt in the fold. The former Pro Bowl back is one of the best in the league at catching passes out of the back field and he can also handle his own running the ball.
