The New York Giants and New York Jets rivalry continues to add more layers as the years go by. The newest wrinkle in the battle for MetLife stadium comes with the most recent signing in New York.
The Giants will sign defensive lineman Damon Harrison away from the Jets and keep him in New York for five more years but in blue and red instead of green and white.
Following from Jason La Confora of CBS Sports.
It's a big boy contract for ex-jets DT Damon Harrison and the Giants. $24M guaranteed/$9M per year. Giants aren't messing around

Forgot to mention – it's a 5-year deal that Damon Harrison agreed to with the Giants

Harrison is a great addition to the Giants defense that couldn’t stop a nose bleed last year. Harrison will only be changing locker rooms so him getting comfortable in a new city or new stadium shouldn’t be a big problem and this move should be seamless for him. With other big names joining him on the defensive line, the Giants managed to get a lot better in less than 24 hours.
