According to a report by CNN, Lawyer Michael Avenatti, has given prosecutors investigating R. Kelly, a new tape of the singer reportedly having sex with an underage girl.
CNN, who has seen the tape, “appears to show R. Kelly having sex with a girl who refers to her body parts as 14 years old.”
Avenatti, who is currently representing a whistleblower against Kelly, says he gave the tape to Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago last weekend.
Avenatti states,
“My client knows the identity of the girl and R. Kelly. He identified the two of them on the videotape. He worked for and has known R. Kelly for decades and he met the girl on a number of occasions.”
The tape is nearly 43 minutes long and is described as being “clear and explicit.” The tape shows the alleged Kelly engaging in multiple sex acts with the young girl, including urination and referencing her as “14-year-old p***y.”
In addition, a small mole can be seen on the man’s back, which could possibly identify the man in the video as R. Kelly.
CNN reports that the video is similar to, “some of the alleged acts for which Kelly was arrested for child pornography in 2002, when he was 35, and then acquitted six years later.”
Avenatti also tweeted out an official statement regarding the tape.
