The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has debuted a new poster inspired by a classic John Romita Sr. cover.
The artwork for Marc Webb‘s sequel pays homage to Amazing Spider-Man #121.
The 1973 issue famously saw the death of one of the title’s main characters.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will see Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) dive further into the mystery of his parents’ disappearance, while going toe-to-toe with Electro (Jamie Foxx), Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan) and Rhino (Paul Giamatti).
The film also stars Emma Stone.
The Amazing Spiderman 2 hits theaters on May 2.
