New Brooklyn Nets general manager Sean Marks has a daunting task ahead of him. The mystery man from New Zealand was thrown into the fire when he was hired on the day of the trade deadline but he didn’t budge, he stayed strong and did not make a move despite rumors leaning the other way.
Marks has already made his first move as the GM of the Nets when he waived Andrea Bargnani after a less than stellar half season with the Nets. Brooklyn’s future is bleek and they do not have any notable assets to speak of yet Marks is not scared of the taking on the task of rebuilding the Nets.
Recently, Marks talked to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical on Yahoo! Sports and he went into detail about his overseas past, his college days at University of Cal at Berkley, his days in the NBA and how he came up through the San Antonio Spurs ranks to be named the new Nets general manager.
