Over the last year or so, much has been made about the similarities between the Brooklyn drill movement and the U.K. drill sound. Most notably, Pop Smoke’s “Welcome To The Party” and Fivio Foreign’s “Big Drip” have both made waves in the U.K. Much of this is thanks to the influence of U.K. producers expanding into the United States. As the similarities continue to be celebrated, a new realm of artists continues to elevate.
Brookyln’s Fivio Foreign continues his run with release of his “Lightwork Freestyle” with Pressplay Media in the U.K. While overseas, he offered up a few bars and some dance moves in an impromptu video shoot.
“I had to do what they couldn’t/They told me kill ’em with kindness/So I wrote kindness on a bullet/Cock back, pull it (bow)/Too sauce, pudding,” he raps.
Fivio Foreign is riding high following a “BK Drip” showcase at King’s Theaters that featured Lil Tjay and Melii. Check out his newest record above.
