Maitreyi Ramakrishnan stars in the first trailer for Mindy Kailing’s Netflix series, Never Have I Ever. Created by the former The Office star, the series follows the life of a first generation Indian American girl named Devi, played by Ramakrishnan.
“Never Have I Ever is a new coming-of-age comedy about the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl,” Netflix describes.
“The series stars newcomer Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi, an overachieving high school sophomore who has a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations,” the streaming service adds.
Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Benjamin Norris, Adam Shapiro and Ramona Young are set to appear in the series. Never Have I Ever will hit Netflix on April 27, 2020. While we wait, check out the first trailer for the show above.
