The Brooklyn Nets season has been less than stellar, to say the least. There wasn’t high expectations coming into the 2015-16 campaign and the end of their season didn’t pay any incremental dividends for their future. There were some bright spots, like the play from rookies Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Chris McCullough along with Brook Lopez continuing to prove he’s one of the best scoring big men in the league. They also moved on from head coach Lionel Hollins and general manager Billy King and brought in Sean Marks from the San Antonio Spurs to take over as GM and rebuild the franchise.
As the season comes to an end and the Nets are long eliminated from the playoffs, Marks has elected to shut down both Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young for the final six games of the Nets season with undisclosed injuries.
