Quincy Acy has impressed during his short time with Brooklyn, averaging seven points, 2.7 rebounds and 12 minutes through 10 games.
Acy’s two-year agreement with the Nets comes after he signed two 10-day deals with the team. He fits well with the club, further emphasizing their grit-and-grind mentality.
This will be his second stint in New York, with Acy previously playing for the Knicks two seasons ago.
Teams value what Acy brings to the table: Grit, hustle and determination. His nightly effort and hard work ethic has helped him turn into a well-respected figure in the league.
Acy, 26, holds career averages of 4.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. This is his fifth professional season. He’s previously played for Toronto, Sacramento, New York and Dallas.
Acy is the third D-League signing that the Nets have made since general manager Sean Marks took over one year ago.
