There have been numerous trade rumours regarding the big wing man Andrei Kirilenko, or AK47, and the Brooklyn Nets. The reason being is that the Brooklyn Nets are not playing him, at all. Kirilenko has had family issues since the beginning of the year (Not disclosed) which won’t stop until February which really brings his trade value down. His trade value will not be as high as his ability though. Some contenders such as the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, even the Chicago Bulls and Raptors, would love to have someone like AK47 on their team.
Kirilenko is a long wing who can defend and shoot, which is a necessity in this league now a days. But for now, Brooklyn Nets owner says no trade for AK47.
“He hasn’t been playing,” Nets general manager Billy King said. “And we had talked about possibly … moving him. Nothing is happening.”
It’s understandable, I mean why would you trade someone who barely plays and is dealing with family issues? It’s nonsense. That means there won’t be any trade talks until his personal issues dissolve and the trade deadline comes.
