As the Brooklyn Nets continue on the path towards their rebuild, they look to add players with a good upside who won’t cost them too much. Insert veteran free agents wingman Chase Budinger and point guard Jorge Gutierrez.
The Nets agreed to terms with Budinger and Gutierrez to fill out the roster heading into training camp. Both veterans are extremely low risk chances on presumably semi-guaranteed training camp deals.

The Nets had been working out a few players recently to fill those last training camp spots. In the following instagram photo from Nets wingman Bojan Bogdanovic you can see free agent point guard Kendall Marshall shooting free throws.
For Budinger and Gutierrez, your guess is as good as anyone else’s when it comes to their chances of making the roster. They both have uphill battles when it comes to joining the team but there is some hope. The Nets are a team with very few guaranteed spots on the squad and if one of these guys make an impact at camp, anything is possible.
