Things can quickly fall out-of-place. You can be on top of the world, ready to take everything over and completely prove your worth to everyone. Then again, you can also just not do a whole lot of anything and have a tragic fall from success.
The latter of those options is something that Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams knows all too well. For over a year now, the Brooklyn Nets have talked about moving Deron Williams one way or another but nothing has worked out. They even tried to get rid of Joe Johnson recently and Brook Lopez during the regular season but they couldn’t even manage to make those deals happen.
As the Nets prepare to cut their losses and deal with the repercussions of sending Williams away, it appears the team is optimistic of Williams’ value. Or they just are really talking him up to try to get a deal for him.

Sources say Nets execs believe there's a trade market for Deron Williams w/ belief that some teams think PG just needs a change of scenery

Williams value plummets year to year as he was even buried on the bench this past season partly due to injury and partly due to lack of production. Williams isn’t the same guard he was when he played with the Utah Jazz and got legendary coach Jerry Sloan fired.
Who would take Deron Williams? Well, there’s no clear suitor for him but maybe a team with some salary cap space, like the Portland Trail Blazers or Philadelphia 76ers will take him for a salary dump but that’s going to have to workout for both sides, not just the Nets trying to make up for their mistake.
