
On a night where the rookie K.J. McDaniels showed up and showed out with some HUGE dunks, the Philadelphia 76ers clawed back from being down by as many as 20 at one point. The Nets though would clamp down and play tough when it mattered most. Brooklyn Nets defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 99-91.
Joe Johnson had 21 points and Brook Lopez scored 19 with 7 rebounds to lead the way for Brooklyn. Deron Williams added 17 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds and Alan Anderson had 12 points off the bench. All 5 starters for the Nets were positive in the +/-.
Philadelphia 76ers were led by rookie sensation K.J. McDaniels who had 18 points and 6 rebounds off the bench. Tony Wroten also had 18 points and 10 assists alongside Michael Carter-Williams, who had only 4 points but 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute had 10 points, Henry Sims had 12 points with 9 rebounds. Hollis Thompson had 14 points off the bench as well.
Philadelphia rallied from down 20 in the first half and lead early in the fourth quarter, but Anderson and Mirza Teletovic led the way for the Nets in the final period. Teletovic had 6 of his 9 points in the fourth and Anderson scored 10 of his 12 points in the fourth quarter.
The Sixers are off to their worst start ever.
Brooklyn Nets are 6-8. Philadelphia 76ers are 0-15.
