Netflix has announced that the teen drama, Outer Banks, will return for a second season. Outer Banks will bring back series’ stars Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Chase Stokes, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow and many others.

Season one focused on a group of teens led by John B. In the wake of his father’s disappearance, John B discovers that his father may have been killed in his lifelong search of a buried treasure of gold. Discovering this bombshell, John B is joined by his friends as hopes to redeem his family name and bring the treasure home. Along the way, he finds love and deals with everyday teenage problems.
Season one ended on frightening cliffhanger. With production on pause, Stokes, Bailey, Daviss, Cline, Pankow and company will look to answer fans’ burning questions in 2021. In the meantime, check out season one on Netflix.
