Get ready for one last trip to The Ranch y’all. On Wednesday, Netflix revealed the release date for the first part of the final season of The Ranch. Part 7 of the series (the first 10 episodes of season 4) will hit Netflix on September 13th. Then, Part 8 will drop sometime in the first half of 2020.
Created by Don Reo and Jim Patterson, The Ranch was the first series to introduce 20-episode seasons split into two parts. The series stars Ashton Kutcher and Sam Elliot as a father/son duo who own and operate a ranch outside of Denver. The series kicks off as Kutcher’s character returns home to run the family ranching business after a less than successful football career. Debra Winger and Elisha Cuthbert also as Kutcher’s on-screen mother and fiancé, respectively.
Danny Masterson starred in the first two and a half seasons of the show as Kutcher’s brother. However, due to an ongoing investigation into rape allegations against Masterson from the 2000s, he exited the show halfway through season 3. His character was written off in the first episode of the second part of season 3.
The Ranch Part 7 hits Netflix on September 13th. Part 8 lands sometime in 2020.
