The madness has officially hit Netflix in March as they have loaded up this month with tons of new movies, TV shows and originals that will have you considering to call in sick to work. Here at Def Pen, we give you a look at what you can get excited for on Netflix this month:
The New Netflix Original
Iron Fist
The most anticipated show coming to Netflix in March has to be Marvel’s adaptation of Iron Fist, which is set to lead up to the superhero team-up show ‘Defenders’ set to release in 2017 by Netflix and Marvel and will include superheroes Daredevil, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones team up with the kung-fu golden fist superhero Iron Fist. The story follows billionaire son Danny Rand, who returns to New York City, 15 years after being reported dead in a plane crash along with his parents. As new threats start to emerge, Rand must choose between his family’s legacy and his new life as the Iron Fist. The Kung-fu fighter is set to debut on March 17th.
Dave Chappelle
Another thing to look forward to for the stand-up comedy fans is Dave Chappelle’s return to stand-up on March 21st in his first of three Netflix Original Stand up’s. A lot of people are excited for his return and this first one is a recording of a show that he did back in 2015. The other 2 are set to release later on in 2017 as well.
Netflix Original Movie of the Month
Discovery
Netflix’s newest sci-fi film has a stacked cast of Robert Redford, Rooney Mara, and Jason Segel and it’s garnered the attention of a lot of people for its strange premise. After a shocking discovery by a scientist about the afterlife, people start to take things into their own hands to get there. That’s set to hit Netflix on March 31st.
The New TV Shows & Movies
In terms of shows and movies that are returning to Netflix, Archer will be returning for its 7th season. You can catch up on any of the top shows that were aired last year as Better Caul Saul, How To Get Away Murder and Vampire Diaries will put their latest seasons on Netflix. Classic movies like Million Dollar Baby and Jurassic Park will join the list of many more new and old movies Netflix will introduce this March.
